Studio photography- Object photography lab 7



For this image I decided to try the black background and I also put a black sheet underneath 
the aftershave. I think this worked well as you can see the reflection underneath. The gold
label is well suited to the black background.

In this image I used the white background. I had the main light on the left and the fill light to the right.
To try and eliminate the shadow as much as possible I used a reflector on the back right side of the image.


I feel that this image was a little too dark around the top but it is all about trial
and error to get the right lighting for your image.

I sprayed a bit of water on the bottle for this image for something different and to get a 
more advert type picture. I like how this image turned out. 
I feel that this went rather well considering it was our first time shooting objects. I took
a lot of photos which  I think is key.

Blog 1- images of interest

I chose this image because, I like the contrast between the darkness in the foreground and the light shining in the background. I like the positioning of the deer and the eerie feel to the photograph. Image sourced: (Amateur Photographer magazine) I like this image as it shows two rivals giving it their all on the field, neither player backing out of a challenge. Image sourced from: Roy Keane The second half with Roddy Doyle.   I chose this album cover as I feel it perfectly captures the mood of the album in such a simple fashion. There is an element of chaos and calmness in this image. You get the message with this image as you do with the content in the songs. Image sourced from : Dave Psychodrama Vinyl.
