Semester 2 Lab 1

 Image one-

This is an image with the model parallel to the window. I like how the shadow gradually darkens across the face.

Image two-

This image has the subject at a 45 degree angle to the window. The left side of the image is dark and shadowy while the right side is illuminated by the natural light.

Image three-

This is an outdoor image with natural light. It was starting to get slightly dark but the light bouncing off the white background helped when taking the image.

Image four-


Here the subject is facing towards the window. The face is catching a lot of natural light, while the background is dark which draws the attention to the model.

Blog 1- images of interest

I chose this image because, I like the contrast between the darkness in the foreground and the light shining in the background. I like the positioning of the deer and the eerie feel to the photograph. Image sourced: (Amateur Photographer magazine) I like this image as it shows two rivals giving it their all on the field, neither player backing out of a challenge. Image sourced from: Roy Keane The second half with Roddy Doyle.   I chose this album cover as I feel it perfectly captures the mood of the album in such a simple fashion. There is an element of chaos and calmness in this image. You get the message with this image as you do with the content in the songs. Image sourced from : Dave Psychodrama Vinyl.
