Image- Julia Diament   


 The photographer I have chosen to write about in my blog is Julia Diament, a photographer who was from a small Jewish town in Poland. There is not a lot of colour in Julia’s images. As she was a photographer in the early to mid 20th century, her images are in black and white. Julia took photographs during the war and her photos are quite dark and emotional. The use of black and white suits the mood of the war era.

Blog 1- images of interest

I chose this image because, I like the contrast between the darkness in the foreground and the light shining in the background. I like the positioning of the deer and the eerie feel to the photograph. Image sourced: (Amateur Photographer magazine) I like this image as it shows two rivals giving it their all on the field, neither player backing out of a challenge. Image sourced from: Roy Keane The second half with Roddy Doyle.   I chose this album cover as I feel it perfectly captures the mood of the album in such a simple fashion.
