Studio photography lighting assignment

Image
This is an image with split lighting. The light was shining from the side of the subject. This is the butterfly lighting technique. The light shines from above and in front of the subject facing slightly down. This is an image with Rembrandt lighting. The light is at an angle to the subject  This is loop lighting. The lighting is at a similar angle to Rembrandt however it is higher above. This is broad lighting. The subject is faced at a 45 degree angle to the camera and around 90 to the lighting.

Image
Image one- created using bounce from behind. It gives an effect as if there is light shining through water. Image two- I chose this image for an image with no shadows in the background  Image three- the subjects face is being lit from the side, emulating window light I like this image as it is well focused and I like the amount of flash has been used and how it illuminates the face.

Studio photography lab 2 sem 2

Image one- this was the image taken outdoors. I like the image because it is not very obvious that the flash was used. This was a creative image I took by using second curtain on the camera. It was difficult to take handheld but the flash helped and I am happy with the quality I took this image outside of Stephen and I like the colouring and contrast. This image was taken in front of the window. It was difficult at first to try and get the background to be the correct contrast and also to make sure there was not too much flash on the face.
